1 get your smart phone go to Google play store and type HP Smart app
2 Download the app and click it open
3 You would see a bell and plus sign click the plug sign to search for available printer.
4, It would ask you if you are connecting a new printer in option A or printer that is already connected before in option B
5 Choose option A for new printer and it would start looking for the printer, you would see HP envy 6000series
6 Printer is found click on the printer and it would select available WIFI network make sure you select the network your mobile phone is connected to and type in your network password, you can get your network password from the back of your router or ask your network provider
7, Once You type the password it would see that the printer is found
- Next is it would ask you to agree Bluetooth activation to identify your proximity to the printer with reassurance that your detail would not be share to HP.
- The printer would obtain your IP (Internet provider) address
- The printer is connected to a WIFI Network and WIFI light would be steady blue light and no longer be flashing intermittently.
