The EQ presets are innovative, and the option to use a custom EQ to tailor the sound is a great addition. The build quality is excellent. It appears that JBL has addressed the volume curve issue, which was a concern of mine with previous JBL speakers as they tended to get too loud too fast. This new model has a more gradual progression and unlike my other JBL speakers, it maintains a nice and full sound even at low volumes.
