Everything You Need to Know About TransferGo and Our User Review

TransferGo is a well-known international money transfer service that focuses on sending money between countries at competitive exchange rates and low or no fees. Since the company launched in 2012, they’ve made it their mission to give customers the ability to send money between countries quickly and easily with as little hassle as possible. This is one of the things that has made them one of the most successful companies in their industry and how they’ve grown their business to where it is today.

As a rising FinTech player in Europe, TransferGo is one of many companies disrupting traditional financial services by bringing innovative mobile apps and faster money transfer options to a traditionally paper-based system. The company has grown rapidly since its launch in 2013, reaching £100 million in annual revenue for 2015. It’s also one of only six companies in Europe to have received a European Fintech Award for its excellence as a payments provider. This award is highly respected across Europe with previous winners including Funding Circle, Revolut, Klarna, Skrill (Moneybookers), Currency Cloud, Azimo and Adyen (receiving it twice).

What Is TransferGo?

TransferGo is a UK-based international transfer company that prides itself on providing fast, reliable and easy transfers. The company handles a wide range of payment services, including currency transfers from all major currencies into British Pounds (GBP) or Euros (EUR). And if you want to send money abroad for free, you can use TransferGo’s free Quick Send service. This allows customers in 31 countries across Europe and Asia Pacific regions to transfer up to £200 for free – although only one free transaction is allowed per month. If you’re looking for an alternative to traditional banks that offers no hidden fees, competitive exchange rates and better exchange rates than PayPal or Western Union, consider transferring money with TransferGo.

Banking Details (SWIFT & IBAN)

The SWIFT code, or international bank identifier code, is a standard format of banking information that’s used to send money globally via wire transfer. The SWIFT code itself is either 7 or 11 characters long, depending on if it’s a domestic or international transfer respectively. Some codes are only 6 digits but are followed by a single check digit which isn’t shown in order to protect against fraud (bank details should also include an additional 2-3 letter abbreviation of your country – GB for Great Britain for example). In contrast with normal UK bank accounts though where there’s only one sort code needed, transfers need two; one for account holder details and another for beneficiary details.

Security and Transparency

While we understand why it’s important for users to know exactly how we work, here at TransferGo we take great pride in our high level of security and transparency. With that in mind, below is a brief description of how our service works: For customer accounts, your bank details are stored on a virtual server that is housed by Amazon Web Services (AWS) one of many companies used by financial institutions around the world. We do not keep any account information ourselves.

TransferGo Transfer Speed, Cost, and Time

When it comes to transferring money, speed is everything. Transferring $200 USD from bank account A in London to bank account B in New York should take no more than a few seconds not minutes, hours, or days. In some instances, it takes up to 3 business days for banks (and their international partners) to process that transaction. With TransferGo’s average transfer time of around 30 seconds, you can start saving time (and waiting on line at your bank). Transfers within Europe are usually less than 20 euros with fees of 5 euros or less; payments outside of Europe will typically fall between 10 and 20 euros depending on how fast you want it sent.

Customer Support

TransferGo’s customer support is very responsive. If you want to cancel your order choose the order you want to canel and select yes to cancel the order. In terms of customer support I received a response on Twitter within 5 minutes of posting my question, which is actually one of their promoted features: their team typically responds within an hour of receiving any message. It also did not take long to receive responses via email when I contacted customer support directly. Within a day or two, I had responses from three different people in various departments that covered nearly every aspect of my inquiry. Although they didn’t respond via Facebook Messenger (their only platform with automated messaging), they did follow up with a personal email afterward to make sure that all questions were addressed.

Verdict And Our User Review

Of all of these apps we’ve reviewed so far, TransferGo is my favorite because it does everything that Revolut does – just better. It’s cheaper for international transfers, works in more countries, and has some really unique features like being able to use your phone as a debit card if you don’t have one of your own. I used it several times while on vacation abroad last year and didn’t have any issues with it. For example, there was an instance where I could have gotten cash out at an ATM but opted instead to do an international transfer with TransferGo because they charge less than what most banks would have charged me. Overall: 4 stars!

How fast is TransferGo?

On average, money transfers with TransferGo take 1-2 business days. That’s a significant improvement over competitors that often take 2-3 business days (or more) to complete their transfers. Why is transfer speed important? When it comes time for your family or friends to spend their money, they won’t be able to use those funds if they haven’t arrived in their account yet. Think about sending funds for an emergency like medical bills, a car repair, or a utility bill. And don’t forget about other instances when you might need funds urgently: you want your gift to arrive on time for Christmas, or you want new tires on your car as soon as possible so you can keep up with busy holiday travel schedules.

Transfergo vs Transferwise

Both companies are direct competitors, but I believe that they differ when it comes to their services. transferwise is great for big transfers, which include currency conversion services as well as bank-to-bank exchanges. Transferwise doesn’t offer a true peer-to-peer service like transfergo, although you could send money via friend or family if you use their system in addition to doing your own research. Another difference between transferwise and transfergo is cost: transferwise claims that they can save consumers up to 90% on international payments when compared with other providers (we never learn who these other providers are) whereas now they claim it’s as low as 0.6% from USD $5,000. 00 per transaction. This means that transferwise offers lower fees than transfergo, at least on bigger transactions. We don’t know how much smaller transactions would be because neither company provides information about minimum or maximum amounts of money that can be sent using their systems but we do know that there is no minimum amount required to use either service. However, we do have information about what happens if someone tries to send less than what one of these companies charges: it will either not go through at all or go through and cost extra depending on which company we’re talking about here. The bottom line? If you want a cheaper option for sending larger amounts of money then transferwise might be better suited for you; however, both of them offer great rates overall.

What is the best money transfer site?

It doesn’t take much effort these days to find a multitude of different money transfer services. If you live in a developed country, it should be easy enough to compare your local banks, foreign exchange firms, and peer-to-peer (P2P) solutions. But when you’re looking for an international money transfer service which is what most people need you to have quite a few more options available. That’s why we’ve compiled information on some of the most popular transfer services out there: World First, Xendpay, Moneygram International, Western Union, TransferWise, and Currency Fair. Even better? We’ve included reviews from our own users so that you can get an impartial opinion on each site. Read more… It takes a lot of time to open bank accounts and remit funds. I would like to do it fast and safely at home with my friends and family.

I would recommend transferring through TransferGo. A short while ago I was forced into sending money overseas because my brother was going abroad for a month or two for work. After doing some research, I decided that TransferGo seemed like it could be a good option, so I tried it out. It was really easy to use and much cheaper than other services that offer similar services. The transfer only took about 24 hours, which is quite fast compared to other companies in their field. After my experience with them, I would definitely use them again if needed.
